It's basically telling (if I'm interpreting this correctly) the max amount of ap (ability points) you can get by doing certain battles in certain areas.
Though, I think the more you do a certain battle the more the ap goes down... read that somewhere on Mabination but can't remember. :<
And just from experience there's a couple runs (Perilous ruins) where, if they aren't daily battles, I only get 10ap at the end. Lol~

As you level more that minimum AP drops. The minimum AP listed above is where that stops. Forever.

Also everytime you do a mission the AP drops by 5 until it hits the minimum cap. Doing dailies on missions you haven't drained for their AP will still drop your AP by 5.

Ahh no wonder, lol.
At least now we know which missions to skip unless they're daily (or we need something out of them) now.
