Background / History:
Magi was stolen as a young child by halfing bandits / thieves who were too lazy to have a baby and care for it. Her nomadic "family" wanted someone with enough brute strength to protect them if they happened to get in a tiff, which is why they stole a dwarven child, but they never bothered to explain to her that she isn't actually a halfling.
Due to much teasing while growing up, Magi became very sensitive about comments relating to size / build of body, and sees herself as a very bulky, unattractive halfing. She decided to follow the "family" trade and learned the skills of a rouge. After growing confident enough with her skills, she decided to leave her "family" in search of people she might fit in better with (and perhaps a handsome youngish male halfling who will love her despite her ugly looks).
