Role playing

ok so our forums have a module i can add on for role playing, now i have been toying with the idea of running a dungeons and dragons based game as i know a website that has pretty much all the info a person would need to make a character. out of necessity this would initially be a fairly basic run through, so not really a whole lot in the way of extra classes and things, as im not entirely sure how this would work out on the forums. anyway just post here if you might be interested in taking part in this. for those interested the website is here click me!

the biggest issue i foresee is combat, which would need to be streamlined somehow, i think, but we shall see.

For streamlining, I guess there's the forum chatbox?

the forum chatbox would require everyone to be on at the same time, which is problem


a character sheet can be downloaded off the top of the character creation page on the former link. the forums themselves should be able to do all the die rolling (at least after i know how to work it for sure ) and some of the the more pertinent info ill probably have up for character sheets on the forum, the rest will be most likely be a digital copy kept by me, and one by the player until i have things set up. im not entirely sure how many fields are availible for a character sheet on here.

those with * are ones im not sure of, i have some passing familiarity with them so they may or may not be included in the list for the first run.

I humbly decline joining this idea.

I have seen said character sheet as friends of mine and myself have tried to do this in real life.

Too much effort goes into creating the character.

I will leave this to all of you.

Also depending on where you look there are more than triple those classes.

ive never run a game on a web forum before z, i took a lot out of the list, besides the ones listed on that website are just what that particular dm allows in his games. i have access to a lot more info, its just that thats all up on a website and is easier for those without my resources.

I've never played a game on a forum either. What we did on the forums was kinda just a RP adventure based on our posts. Not really a dungeon dragons thing. What I listed was just a character I made on the character sheet. We never really got far enough to actually play the game itself.

dont worry cruci they can be clerics, and theyre actually pretty good at it
