Firstly, because I was amused at one of my new favourite bands having a song called Umbra, here's the video for it. The lyrics are sad, but the song rules (imo)... my other favourite song is Tanz auf dem Vulkan.

and cool, sorg means sorrow? nvr knew xD

come to think of it, thorns is kind of an emo name too. I know cause I was trying to find a cool image of thorns for my avatar/sig and all the images from google were... well... emo...

Pretty close Thorn. I've always associated squall with a storm over water, but you're right about the wind bit too.
