Mabinogi Problems

I was starting to get back into mabi recently but lately I have been having issues actually getting on to the servers.

The problem I'm running across many other people are having also which is when the launcher loads it basically sits there forever and eventually says:

Failure to Patch. Please try again Later.

Even when I was up to date with my patches it would give me this error.

Anyone know a way around this?

No idea... I haven't logged in since Sunday. There was a major roll back last week, but dunno if it's related to your problem at all.

I'd just re-install it all over again.

I did reinstall it but it always says failed to patch. Even if I go to the website to download the game it still says they have Version 87 of the client which mine was 94 when it originally started doing this. Even the manual patch is 87.

well nexon finally acknowledged the error on the forums now to wait an eternity for it to fix itself.

here it is on my first weekend off in a while and for some reason I want to play mabinogi and I can't do a dang thing about it

Fixed. Almost.

Go to your Mabi folder where the application is and right-click > Properties > [Compatibility] tab. [Change settings for all users] > Run this program as an administrator.

Run it as normal and voila.

ONLY PROBLEM NOW, THOUGH, is the game's post-login issue of freezing at [Reading Character Info].

I do run it on normal.

usually when i run it on administrator it says to change the settings back so i always run it on normal.

If you try to run it as administrator it says.

Compatibility mode disabled. Please Restart.

Its done that as far back as I can remember.

So running it on administrator versus Normal doesn't make a difference for my computer.

Yeah, that was the case for me too until I hit the [Change settings for all users] button. Then it stopped telling me about compatibility disabling.

Either way, game still freezes at "Reading Character Info," so it's a moot point.

well its 1047pm cst on tuesday and it just patched for the first time in a week

Whoa... I can get on now... Yet I'm not really excited, lol.
