Riddles (idk im just bored xP)

heres some riddles for those who are bored like me xP. Some of them are rlly easy but idk, they're fun to solve/reveal.

answer which ever one that you think you no ^^

1. Once in a minute, twice in moment but never in a thousand years. what am i?

2. four men were in a boat on the lake. The boat turns over and all four men sink to the bottom of the lake, yet not a single man got wet, why? (this one is rlly cheesy ><)

3. A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told
him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to
four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in
prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him
go free. What did the man say?

4. whoever makes it, tells it not. whoever takes it, knows it not. whoever knows it, wants it not. what is it?

5. a man rides his horse into a town on friday, stays for three days, and leaves on friday, how does he do it?

6. how many times can you subtract the number 5 from 25?

7. Where did the 13th man come from?

8. (this one is super easy, but i like it for the rhymes)

6. no, the answer is once. because the second time you subtract 5 it wont be from 25 but from 20 xP

You shouldn't have told me the answer to 6. I would've guessed it eventually, like I will with the rest

Eventually as in after a gazillion guesses? xP But alrite, for the other ones i wont reveal (unless someone asks me to), for you will eventually get them all. xD

Eventually as in I will look them up on google and find the answers. I actually figured out 1 and 5 on my own, though.

then wont that be the same as me revealing them? as ur gonna use google anyways?

Yeah I was joking. Probably won't look em up, that ruins the fun

I finally figured out number 3...

The man said, "You will sentence me to six years in prison".

Of course, this would be a contradiction.. if the statement were true, the judge would be sentencing him to four years, making the statement false, which would mean sentencing him to six years, making the statement true.. and so on.

So the judge let him go free rather than contradict himself.
