Arrrggghhh~ I haven't felt this sad over a game since Portal lol...
Riverwood got attacked by a dragon in my game and Alvor the blacksmith died helping us fight it Sad

I wasn't too sad about it til I saw his little daughter Dorthe just standing there looking at the empty forge /cry
She didn't move for ages and finally I just left cos I couldn't stand it anymore XD

(Yes I know it doesn't look perfect, it didn't last long after I took the pic anyway XD)

I had this recipe in my bookmarks for ages, but only just now got round to making it (finished as of a few minutes ago). It's GOOD, and I seriously considered just sitting there and eating the entire bowl of creamcheese frosting lmao~ <3

So, here's the recipe link.
Changes I made:
- I used regular granulated sugar in place of all the different sugars. /Lazy
- Used buttermilk in place of milk. /Lazy again
- Didn't cut the tops off the cakes before I turned them upside-down. /Not wasteful and they look fine anyway~
- Didn't scoop out a hole for the cinnamon syrup, but I did cut into the cakes themselves and let the syrup drip down inside yum yum~
- Used way more cinnamon and vanilla than was called for, as I love those flavours and it just made for a truly excellent flavour.
- Made my own self-raising flour as I can't be bothered to ever buy it for as little as I use it. My recipe is as follows (1 cup = 1 cup; make more as needed):

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (POWDER not soda!!)
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix thoroughly and that's it! Very Happy

I lost interest in playing Skyrim for a while after I finished the main story, but recently I got back into it and finished off the mage college quest. I find it amusing that I'm now the arch mage with only a passing knowledge of magic at best. Although with the arch mage clothes and the dragon priest mask that you get in going through the quest line, even my character could do well using magic in combat.

Oh, and I figured out how the whole marriage thing works. Apparently my rugged scaly good looks caught more eyes than I thought xD

...they probably like my guy cause he's horny. (insert rim shot here)

I haven't got married yet. I'm waiting til I get a better house... can't decide where I want to make my permanent home. I kind of want every house in every city lol.
Right now I'm just faffing about with the Stormcloak questline and whatever other misc. quests I pick up along the way.
I also have Bard's College but I haven't done much with it yet. I'm foregoing magic this time so I won't be joining the mages.

So after awhile of not touching Skyrim, I decided to update (gasp!!) and so far it hasn't broken my game ... but I also forgot what I was doing and so I rerolled my character.
I also downloaded a few appearance mods off the Nexus and my character looks even more awesome now!
BUT! that's not all... found this video and was rofling so hard. *Use of the F-word, maybe once, inside*

How odd, I just got back into Skyrim as well. Probably because Mabi is dull with no one on, and I was watching Game fails when I saw the new bow execution camera. It makes sniping so much more satisfying to watch the arrow fly through the air and embed itself in the target's head. I also finished off enchant, so now all my gear is duel enchanted.

I joined the imperial side for the whole civil war story, as my guy is argonian, and the guy that runs the stormcloaks doesn't treat them very well in his city. For most of the fights that have had groups of soldiers, I just fire into the fray and figure that if they're important, they won't die in one hit xD

Getting anything done in that game is tricky, as it has about a billion distractions between point A and B. Fast travel is about the only way to stay on task.

~~I must find that mod! Since I'm still an archer (trying to almost exclusively be, now) that sounds like something I need.~~ ... Unless you're talking about when you headshot something, you see your arrow flying into the enemy's head? I did this with the bear and was like "OMG THAT'S SO COOL ASKDJKSJSKS" and just thought it was my finishing move, which I had never before been able to pull off with just a bow and arrows.

well I figure one is the lesser of two evils. I started out on the Stormcloak side again but haven't really picked a faction so who knows.

Hehe yes... "ooh flowers... a butterfly! a rabbit!" etc., even though I've already seen these things a million times and have got loads of them, it's still pretty distracting.
I also have to explore everything, all over again. It's been fun and something I needed.

Yep, I can't figure out anything to do in Mabi since the thing I like doing most has become difficult and thus no one wants to do it, lol (commerce) and I don't feel like trying to finish any of my G-quests cos everyone's already done them (and I've already helped so many people with parts of theirs) that it just gets tedious.
Waiting on Fighter or whatever is coming out next.

Vindictus feels the same way, although I should try to login and see what that dance emote is all about, since I have been wanting to dance in that game for ages XD
I'm also waiting on Kai to renew what little spark of interest I have. I still like going in to bash things around for a bit but after awhile I'm like "meh /logout" lol.

I'm just talking about the execution animations. They always had em for melee, but they added em in a patch for bows. I only do insane damage with my bow because of maxing out smithing and enchant. Enhanced my bows to legendary state, and then enchanted a bunch of my gear with +40% to bow damage. My main Glass bow has a base of 183, and with Daedric arrows I would be close to 200 with it. Add in my sneak attack bonus, and having sneak at 100, and the only thing I can't take out with two or three shots are Blood and Elder dragons xD

The fighter skills are out in mabi, you know. They just take a massive amount of ap to rank up. I still do commerce on occasion, and I've been trying to get the drops from the new area for commerce. Some of that stuff sells for up to 10k ducats a piece. Of course, everything in that area is designed to murder 1k total level characters and up, so it's not easy to kill the stuff, much less get the drops.

Yes I plan to do that too but I'm taking things really slow.
